On a rainy day, the PAAC Tournament went inside, and the Owls Boys took the PAAC title for the second year in a row. Strong performances in singles seized the victory for Burris over University. Mason Waldron played 1-singles and turned in strong performances to against the best competition in the tournament, winning 6-1, 6-2 over International and 6-2, 6-0 over University. Andrew Combs was also undefeated at 2-singles, dropping only 2 games. He won 6-0, 6-0 over Anderson Prep and 6-0, 6-2 over International. At 3-singles, Nate Yang came away victorious in 2 tighter matches, winning 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 over University and 6-4, 6-4 over Shortridge.
The Burris 1-doubles team of Evan Jennerjahn and Adam Combs statted the day strong with a victory over International and lost the closest match of the day to eventual 1-doubles champs University, 7-6(8-6), 5-7. 7-10. The 2-doubles team of Robby Sammelson and Jack Eads won two matches (over Shortridge and Anderson Prep) to reach the final vs University, where they lost 6-7(7-9), 3-6.
University finsished a strong second in points.
