Burris Tennis Falls to 2-4 After Tri-Match vs. Bishop Dwenger and Richmond

The first match of the day was Bishop Dwenger vs. Richmond, which went down to the wire with Richmond eventually pulling out the 3-2 win.  

The second match saw Burris take on Bishop Dwenger, losing 5-0.  The best chance for Burris was at 2 doubles where the team of Thomas Zeller (sophomore) and Jacob Nichols (junior) won the first set in a tiebreak, lost the second set, and finally lost the match in a super tiebreak.  

Burris took on Richmond in the third match and lost 1-4 with the solitary victory going to 1-doubles team of Carson Adams (senior) and Drew Wheatley (junior).  They started by losing the first set, but came back strong in the second and third sets to deliver the only victory for Burris on the day..  Matthew Litt (junior) also played a close match at 2-singles but lost in the third set.
