PAAC Conference Championship, tomorrow 9/28 @ IU East

The information regarding our Conference Championship meet tomorrow at IU East is below. Let me know if anyone has any questions. I would appreciate if any parents would be willing to bring water or snacks to the meet tomorrow. I am also looking for volunteers for our home meet this coming Tuesday 10/1. Please let me know if you may be available to help.

For the meet tomorrow, 7 runners will run Varsity, and any runner who is not a part of that 7 will be competing in the Junior Varsity Race that will follow.  Those athletes will know who they are.

Also, I was sent this message regarding directions to the meet from the Seton Catholic AD: "I'm sure almost everyone is aware by now but there is a lot of construction on I-70 E heading towards Richmond.  A large stretch is down to one lane.  It is not a bad idea to avoid the mess and travel on Hwy 40 E.  I-70 W is fine."

Thank you for your support and Go Owls!

Marion Invitational, Tomorrow, 9/7 at Indiana Wesleyan University

Parents:

Tomorrow we will be competing in the Marion Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University.

The bus for the athletes will leave from the loading dock tomorrow at 9AM.

The JV Boys will run at 10:30AM tomorrow. Our Varsity teams will be competing in the Gold Division, which means that our Varsity Boys will be competing at 12:30PM, followed by our Girls at 1:00PM. I will be letting each athlete know this evening what race they will be competing in tomorrow. We will also be staying to watch our middle school team compete directly following our Varsity races.

I have not received exact instructions on parking, but this meet will be one of the largest in the state this weekend, so it may be difficult to park. What I would recommend is that you arrive at the meet early in case you may need to park and walk a distance to get to the meet. They are usually well organized with signs and directions as you get closer to the meet. The meet is at Indiana Wesleyan University in the same complex/area as their football and track facility. The course begins right near the intersection of Harmon St. and 50th St. in Marion, IN. I cannot attach it to this announcement, but if you would like a map of the course, please email me and I will forward that to you.

If anyone would be willing to bring snacks/water for the athletes tomorrow, please let me know. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me at ntclay@bsu.edu

As always, thank you for your support.
